PORTLAND APPROVES SICK LEAVE LAW

The City of Portland Oregon has approved an ordinance requiring employers to provide sick leave. The ordinance is effective January 1, 2014.

Employers with a minimum of 6 employees must provide employees with a minimum of one hour of paid sick time for every 30 hours of work performed by the employee.
