I wasn’t sure where to post a question so Im trying here hoping to get an answer. My son turned 26 last month and medical coverage ended yesterday. Last week he was able to get insurance from his company, but need a letter from my company stating he was no longer insured. It takes I guess over a week to issue this letter and i do not know why. my question is does my insurance carrier have to notify my son thirty or sixty days in advance that his coverage is ending? thanks
